Miami Children’s Hospital Upgrades

As Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) continues to expand on its limited campus space, Turner-OHL partnered with Tropic Mechanical to meet the unique challenges these projects are facing.

At the heart of these projects is the manifestation of MCH’s master plan to centralize its utility usage. Tropic spearheaded the installation of the 24-inch Chilled Water mains that will feed the hospital for decades to come. By centralizing their utilities to the new Central Energy Plant, the hospital will be saving millions of dollars that will allow the hospital to continue to provide its patients with world-class quality healthcare.
