With their ever-expanding patient rolls, the “New Look” Kendall Regional Medical Center is becoming a leader in the local Healthcare picture.

With the county’s second full trauma unit, many additional patient rooms were required to turn over ER beds and add capacity to the hospital. Teaming with Skanska, Tropic Mechanical executed this project in an extremely short time-frame. The implementation of BIM Modeling as well as utilizing innovative pre-fabricated racks, with a majority of the corridor overhead work done off site in a warehouse, construction time and interruption to Hospital operations was kept to a minimum.
